I dropped out of a CS degree, learned to code while working, and eventually moved from Brazil to Sweden for a software job. Myelin is me building the tool I kept wishing existed beside me through that messy path.
About Myelin
Why Myelin exists.
I started Myelin because self-directed learning kept losing the thread. AI could explain one concept in the moment, but it did not keep the goal, path, review memory, and next step alive when I came back.
Myelin is early access. The core loop already exists: shape a path from a goal, work in Companion, and return through Dashboard with the path and review state visible.
Origin
The first problem was knowing what mattered next.
The frustrating part was not finding more material. It was deciding which parts of a subject mattered for the goal in front of me.
When I wanted to get productive in a new area, a full formal path often felt too broad. I wanted help finding the concepts that would make the next real step possible.
The first workflow was personal: learner context, goal shaping, review memory, and a path that survived the session. Myelin is my attempt to turn that loop into a small, usable tool.
What Myelin is for
A visible path for goal-first learning.
Myelin is not trying to be another chat that starts from zero. It keeps the learning work outside the transcript, where the path, concepts, and review history can be inspected when you return.
Start with a goal
Begin with what you want to learn or build, not a generic course outline.
Shape a path
Myelin turns that goal into a bounded path so the next concepts and assumptions are visible.
Return with memory
Review history and next steps stay available after the live session ends.
Today
Companion and Dashboard work together.
The tool is focused. Companion is for active learning work. Dashboard is for the path, concept context, and review state that remain after the session.
Companion
Shape the goal, work through the current session, and keep the active moment narrow.
Dashboard
See the path, inspect concept context, and return to review without rebuilding the thread.
Early access
Access opens gradually while Myelin is still being shaped around real learning work.
Access
Early access is personal for now.
Send a short note if Myelin looks relevant to something you are trying to learn or build. Requests come straight to me while the project is still early. Share only what you are comfortable sending by email.
